My car was in the shop there for nearly four weeks and my issue still hasn't been fully resolved. First, there was a miscommunication between the dealership paying for part of my repair and the actual auto shop which was not communicated with me until I contacted them almost two weeks later (after communicating a few times) and I had to work out the issue myself. Then, I was told both issues were fixed. I came to pick my vehicle up and the biggest issue which is my traction control and the alarm was still on immediately upon turning the car on. I ended up getting stranded in Lakewood because I had to leave my car in the shop - again and was without it for another two weeks. Again, they promised me the issue had been fixed. Again, I went to pick my car up and the error code and alarm was on immediately upon turning my car on. At this point my trust is limited and I am exhausted by not having my car for nearly a month. I just took it home. I'm not sure what I am going to do at this point, but for now I don't have any choice but to just try and ignore the alarm. I can't keep leaving it at an auto shop, being promised it has been fixed, only to turn my key and the error be waiting for me again. It's exhausting and dissapointing.
We’re sorry to hear how frustrating this experience has been, especially given the amount of time you were without your vehicle. We did diagnose and test the module, including a 9-mile road test during which the warning did not return. Unfortunately, the issue returned after the vehicle was picked up.
We also understand the frustration surrounding the warranty process. The repair was being handled through CarHop, and there was a delay of more than two weeks in receiving authorization for the work. We did communicate that replacing the module was an option, but that repair would have required customer authorization because it was not approved by the dealership under the warranty.
We regret that the issue has not been resolved to your satisfaction and understand how disappointing this situation has been.
